Saturday Speaks!

It's Saturday, making it a great day, plus Christmas is coming up. I still have a million presents to buy (and create-shh!), so it's been pretty busy in the Rankin household. It's enjoyable, though. What's really great is that I can get my share of the computer now. For some reason, Amy isn't as over protective of it. I like to believe it is the Christmas Spirit that is "haunting" her. (:

It's almost Christmas, and only a week of school to live through, thank goodness! It's great to be off for a while. Even this weekend feels good! I have barely any homework, and I'm working on it right now, so it's all good. Also, I just went to The Twelve Days of Christmas for my Math Teacher, Mrs. Yuhas. The twelve days of Christmas is when 13 days before Christmas, we follow along with the song. For instance, on the seventh day of Christmas, or seven swans a swimming, then we make seven origami swans, then give them to someone who you think needs a bit of excitement or something. You have to deliver it on secret every day, though. That is what makes it so fun. It has always been a family tradition to do it every year. So, on the very first day, I was my ultra too exciting self and insisted upon driving around the block after delivering the gift to see Mrs. Yuhas face. The expression of the first day is always the greatest. Well, this year I definitely got a good look, that's for sure. Too good, if you catch my drift.

We, my mom and I, drove around the block. When, we come around, Mrs. Yuhas and her daughter are on the porch, and as we drive by, I insist upon mom to drive slower, so I can get a good look at her surprised face. So, here we are driving slowly in front of her house, so slow we are almost stopped. I guess that's what caught their eyes, because as we slowed, they looked up.

The thing with our car is that the back seat windows, no one can see in them because of the type of glass, whatever it's called. But, however, the front seat windows aren't like that. So, I was staring at the window, and Mrs. Yuhas looks up, and whoopdedoo, she's staring right at me. I hear mom say, "look away,", but I don't. I can't because I've now made direct eye contact with my teacher. Yipee!

The next day at school, I'm freaked out about what to do, cause I can't go to math or else she's gonna be like, "hey, why were you at my house yesterday?" Well, I didn't need to worry, because she didn't say that. She said something more like this, "...". So, I'm sitting down, and we usually have a great conversation, but there wasn't anything. So, now I know she's suspicious, and she knows that I'm suspicious because neither of us are approaching the other. Wow.

But anyhow, it's even more fun, because now I have no idea whether she really suspects me or not. She could even know it is me, but I don't know, so yeah. It's so fun. I've always enjoyed doing it every year. I remember last year we did it for the coach of the football team, Mr. Selover. He is also a Social Studies teacher, and was Amy's. That's why we did it for him. One day, (it was night thankfully) he sat up waiting for me. I crouched down to put down the gift, and what do you know, the door opens and standing over me is Mr. Selover. Of course, I follow my first instinct and ran. However, I took the present with me. Since he is the coach, he is very athletic (and much more so than I), so of course he ran after me. I screamed. I screamed my head off as I ran. Luckily for me, mom was pretty close by where she parked so I got in. Mr. Selover actually thought it was Amy because of my hair, which is sorta the same color, but my voice wasn't the same, making him puzzled, which is good, because he didn't have any clue again. But, we had to go back that same night to deliver the present again because I had never let go of it.

All in all, have a good Christmas everyone! Hearts for all!

Waiting for an Email

So, I've been on the internet for who knows how long, waiting for an email that hasn't come. My team in Science has the Rough Draft (a very pretty one, if I may say so myself) due tommorrow, when we realized, Oh my goodness! We don't have an invention name! So what do we have to do? Haritha (one of my team members) is making up the name, and she said she would send it to me, so now I have to wait for who knows how long for an email that hasn't come, plus Amy is getting home soon and has a lab report to do when she gets here, so I have to be done by then. So, Haritha better hurry up and not take forever, because wether you believe it or not, I have a life, which is completely contradictory to one of my other entries.

Well, I'll just have to do my other homework while I wait. If worst comes to worst I can always call her (thankfully I have her phone number). So, in the end, I think today has been a great day. Awesome. Yeppers.

Love to all y'all (as my friend would say)

STEM

STEM is really getting annoying right now. It is becoming hard to do what I need to, but I can't stop working or else. This is important. We are doing ExploraVision, which is a contest where you make an invention that can be used 20 years from now. If we win (which is doubtful because of the thousands of competitors), we get 10,000 dollars and prizes per person! Anyhow, I have to go, so bye! Nothing is really happening, like usual, but that's ok.
Bye!

If Christmas Were Today...

It's Saturday, and it's without marching band. I feel sooo bored now that marching band season is over. What should I do? Here, why don't we play hours of videogames just to get some sort of excitement out of this Saturday? That gets mom mad. At least I was doing something constructive in Marching Band. But now, it's just blah. I'm so bored, I even decided to do my homework early! Which is a first for me, especially when there is my Nintendo DS sitting on my lap. Surprisingly, I have nothing to do. I did a little homework, played a ton of video games, and I just finished my German homework online right now, and I don't even want to play any more videogames because I'm tired of playing! What I would do for a lot of people and a game of Bang! or Killer Bunnies right now, or even the Great Dalmuti or Screwy Lewy. I really want Christmas to hurry up so I can have someone to play with. THAT would make my day. If only it were Christmas.....

Anyhow, my Christmas list is pretty short. Actually, it has three things on it. Videogames, Gift Cards, and, what do you know, Candy. So, there you go. Buy me a big bag of Swedish Fish and Skittles and I'll be happy all day long. Don't forget a lot of games, with all of my family members (so have fun trying to convince my mom to actually play instead of work;or work while playing, or have some work that will take a million hours to finish before she can play).

So, I'm pretty happy. Just bored. And kinda tired, but less tired than I was in Band season. That's pretty much the only up. Mom says that because I was in Marching Band, my grades were down in the gutter. The strange thing is, I've noticed they've gone down AFTER marching band season was over. Huh, will you look at that? I wonder why. Oh, I know! I'm so BORED! Some might say, "How does that happen? Wouldn't it be better?" Wrong! Before, I was always in the working habit. I worked longer, harder, and more efficiently. Now that I'm bored, I just want to get it over with! I don't care as much. Because of my "lack of good grades during the Marching Band season", my mom and dad are probably going to restrict me (yes, a very harsh word) from joining Marching Band. What they don't get is the up side of my situation and being in Marching Band. I'm so much happier there in the Band room. It's like a second home, which I can't go to because I'm not in Highschool! It's crazy, I know. So, if I don't join Marching Band, then I will be very mad at my parents, as will Megan and Abby be mad at me, because I would never be there. It's crazy, I know. A whole mess, and a whole year of dreading to wait for it. Grrr!!!

Anyhow, happy news time! So, today I have nothing to do, so I'm going to spend some quality time on my room! Let's see what mom'll think of that! Now, she can't complain about my lack of constructiveness! Yeah! Bing bing bing! Solution!

Also, I have tons of time for more video games! I've just decided that there is another video game I haven't played today! Yay! So I better go! Bye!

Home At Last... With A Computer!

Thanks to Jeffery, our computer has now been fixed! Yay! I can go on the internet...at home! At least for now, but that's all I need to know. It's actually faster than before, which isn't saying much, but you can definitely see the improvement. It's great to be able to have fun on the internet, especially since I am on it and Amy isn't! She's busy right now, so I have the computer for the first time in who know's when!

The only bad news is that cute little baby Nathan and his family are all gone! They disapeared while I was at school, so I didn't even get to say goodbye. I love them all though.

Nathan and McKenzie were so cute though! Next to each other they looked like they were a giant and elf, Nathan being the giant. It's so cute just to see them lying next to each other.

Oops, I have to go. It's time for Young Womens. We are meeting early because we are going ice skating. Yay! I've never been ice skating before, but I kinda don't wanna go because I'm kinda tired of leaving home. I know, what a homebody!

Love ya all! I'll see you in a few weeks, most of you.

Baby McKenzie and my predicament

Baby McKenzie came at last!! She is so adorable. The problem is that....(don don don)... I have a cold! I can't even hold her. But she is sooooo tempting! She doesn't cry, only makes the cutest gurgling sound when she wants something. The only time I heard her cry was when she was tired and hungry and wanted Mama (oh, how sweet!). I love her so much already! Which reminds me, I really need to get done, so I can go home and watch her play (while playing a game with Adam and Meredith-hopefully). So, although this is quick, just wanted to tell everyone hi.

Bye! <3

Birthday

Sorry, but before I forget, I want to wish Michelle a happy Birthday! Enjoy your day!

Shopping on Saturday

I have officially decided I love shirts. Especially long ones. Especially single color ones. Especially ones from Koles (or however you spell it ). I was out shopping for like 3 hours today. It wasn't my idea. It actually began with my mom. She wanted to go to Toys R Us (if you're smart enough, you'll figure out why) and we ended up going to Toys R Us (obviously), Circuit City, Koles, and Sams Club. What a day! Actually, the most time was spent at Koles where my sister decided to try on every piece of clothing they had (I can't complain though, I did part of it (: ). Well, my mom took the clothes and told us we couldn't wear them until Christmas. Apparently, she wants to wrap them up and call them presents even though we bought them. How odd is that? Let's just go buy things and then have them as gifts to ourselves. That would make a great Christmas for the kids. Forget Santa Claus.

Ok, so yeah. Amy is making fun of me. I stuck my tongue out at her. But get this, I did it ONLINE!!! I stuck out my tongue at her through a smiley face! Heehee! The great taste of awesome sisterlyness. <3

Ok then. Good old computer talks with Amy. *sigh*. What would I do without them? Anyhow, here I am, on a computer, doing nothing. Wait, wait! I do have something interesting to talk about! My new little niece (not very new now, but she'll do just fine) is coming!!!!!! I am so happy! I think this is like, the only time I'm actually cleaning my room for good!! Yeah!! I just can't wait until I see my darling!! Kenzie!<3

Oh, and let's not forget my other nephew who is coming next (along with my favorite games...right?)....announcing, Nathan! I've seen every picture, and he looks like the most smiley baby! Either that, or the photographer is really good! Or both, which is very possible!!<3

And to my other nephew and nephew to be, just a little reminder- I <3 you!!!!!<3! I will see you soon, I'm sure. Either I'm going to Utah, or you're going to New Jersey, because I can't stand to not see you for too long! I <3 you all, parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and everyone else!

Marching Band and Homework

I really have to go. I have 5 minutes left to do this, so I'll hurry. I'm at the library (still going because of our internet) and I just finished a project- finally! I don't understand how teachers believe we can do so much work in one weekend. Two projects, plus a ton of homework. I've worked 3 hours and have tons more to do, plus a football game today and a championships in Marching Band tommorow. What am I to do?! Really, are they going crazy?

Well, I really have to go. Bye!

Family

Long Time, No Talk To!

I'm writing at the library, still, since our stupid computer still isn't working. I'm writing only because something finally happened to me at last! My new niece was born three days ago. Yay!!! McKenzie (a little unsure how to spell it) is the cutest thing ever! I've only seen pictures, but she is so cute! She even had a little bow in her fluff of hair!!! I can't wait to meet her.

And my nephew Nathan! He too is sooooo cute!!! I can't wait to meet him. I hope that they will stay a long time when they visit.

Baby Joe is so much older! I can't wait to see him. It's been so long since I saw him last. He seems like such a charmer!

All you guys have to come visit so I can see my family again. I'm soooo anxious, I can't wait to see my little guys! Just think, they're almost as old as I am!! Wow!!

Well, that's about it. I just got out of school, but I have to hurry because I have a game I have to play at tonight for Marching Band. It's home, so at least we don't have to go anywhere. It's from like 5:30 to 10:00, so it should be enjoyable. I can't wait! And we don't have a competition tommorow! I'm so excited!!!! Another day off!!! But I do have a huge project due Wednesday that I still have barely even started. Lots of hours of work.... great. Well, best get to it! The sooner, the better. A 1,000 word essay, here I come! Plus a model of my item (which I create), plus a picture of me using it, plus everything else I need to do.

Well, tell everyone I love them! I do, I do, I do!!!

Back Again

Back at the Library. Girls Camp is over, and I'm home at LAST!!! I got pretty homesick. I mean, really, can't they get some electronics or something? Gosh!!!J.k!

But, anyhow, life has been... consistent... consistently boring anyway. It's... extremely uninteresting. I have nothing to write about, so I'll just give up right about now.

WAIT! I do have something. I did win a prize at the library (where I am at now, getting ready to get it). The last week of summer (therefore the last prize handed out). I had given up all hope of getting any prize, but last year i got 2 movie tickets to Regals. Woohoo!!!

But yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm still learning to use this thing, but I'm getting better! I still don't know how to post pics, so yeah... this is the most recent post of My Life (or the Lack of)!

Bye bye peeps!

Realization

Wow! Sorry, but I just realized something; it has been exactly a month since my last post! Woah! and something else; in all that time, I have exactly nothing to write about! Wow!!! I have no life!!!

So, if anyone has any extra lives, can I have it? Thanks!!!

At the Library

Hey! Been a while, I know, but since I now have to go to the library to go on the computer, I also have less time to write. Well, here I am, another boring day after another. Sometimes school is needed; it gives me something to write about at least.

I just got back from the dollar store, buying secret sister gifts for camp. Amy told me to get a scripture for each day, so I looked up the theme (which is really easy) and found TONS of scriptures, so I went through each one, trying to find the best ones. It's pretty cool.

Nothings really happened yet, but i need to get home so I can work on my Summer Assignments. Another hour of wonderful reading!!!! *sigh*. It's going to be tough, but I'm not very worried. Mom and Dad are more worried than me (of course). Soon I will probably have to go. Ali and Amy aren't done yet, so I have time. I only have 28 minutes left in my time session, though. 28 minutes to blog about my boring life.

I have absolutely nothing to write about, so I will be done pretty soon. But there's one thing to talk about; my two little nephews!!!!! I really, really, really, really, really, really, really want to see them right now. I've just finished reading Michelle and Tina's blogs, and looked at the pictures and stuff, and they are just so ADORABLE!!!! They are so undescribably (if that is a word) cute, it's so loveable! I can just imagine Baby Joe playing with his brother, in his cute little voice, with his little eyes darting around!!! *sigh*, what a life...

And cute little Nathan!!!!! I can imagine a little baby all cuddled up into his blanket. In his pictures he looks so small compared to everything. I just love the pictures of him sleeping, especially the one where he is holding Michelle's finger! It is so cute!!!

I do have to go though. Only 15 minutes left now, and Alison IMed me on Gmail telling me to go soon. So I better go. Here is the end of todays boring blog where I ramble about absolutely nothing!!! Yay!!

Yeah.....The Boring Day Begins...

Today is really boring.... Everyone's gone, which is kinda fun. Ali's coming home today, and I've got tons of Math Summer Homework to do. Mom will probably yell at me, asking me why I haven't worked on it. That's ok, I'll work on it later. Well, I think I hear the door. Ali's home!!!
